About us
Meet Our Founder
Solomon Bortey serves as the CEO at The Call To Help international. In 2021, Solomon, along with his wife Clara, began serving the homeless community in the Dallas Fort Worth area. They founded The Call To Help International in 2023.
During his youth, Solomon actively pursued service in the community with the 31st Accra Company of the boys and girls Brigade of Ghana. He continues to be of service to the community with organizations such as “The Head Of State Award Scheme” also known as “the duke of Edinburgh award scheme” where he earned the Bronze and Silver Award and is on his way to earn the Gold Award. After Coming to the United States, Solomon joined The Habitat for Humanity to help build Homes for the less privileged. While attending Rose State College and Texas A&M University, he continued to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity and also dedicated additional time to volunteer at nursing homes.These combined experiences and the desire to give back to the community fueled the creation of The Call to Help International.
During his time as a college student, he established personal relationships with medical providers whom also shared in his passion he shared his idea of giving back to the homeless and to less privileged individuals. Many of the Doctors, pharmacists and nurses shared their passion for serving and giving back to the community as well. Solomon along with his colleagues felt a nonprofit would be the perfect avenue for them to give back, and achieve their long lost desire to help. The Call To Help International’s objective other interest is to make a difference in the lives of people who would never be able to pay them back.
INTRODUCTION
What We Do
The Call To Help International brings healthcare professionals to developing countries and underserved communities to facilitate health screening and preventative healthcare services. The Call To Help International analyzes the medical history and the profile of homeless individuals to predict their risks for certain types of diseases such as cardiac, lung, and mental health disorders. For screening, individuals are interviewed for an hour and a half to collect critical medical history and detailed profile data. This collected information is used to analyze their existing health conditions as well as provide risk factors for potential health conditions.

Next, the healthcare professionals will treat individuals at the early stage of their health conditions and concerns. Thus, extending their life span and reducing their burden on the healthcare system. All services provided are free.
Our Mission
The Call To Help International’s mission is to provide homeless and less fortunate individuals globally with access to health screening and preventative healthcare. The Call To Help International provides these vulnerable individuals with access to the necessary tools needed to understand their health score and risk rate for certain diseases, ensuring treatment or early detection to prevent long-term complications.
Our Vision
The Call To Help International’s vision is for all people, regardless of demographics or circumstances, to have access to preventative and routine healthcare services. By inviting health professionals – Dentists, Doctors, Pharmacists, and Nurses – to serve within their scope of practice in local, national, and global communities in need of healthcare equity, The Call To Help International eradicates the adverse outcomes endured by many homeless and less fortunate individuals, one early health intervention at a time.
